Involves an array of hour to hour activities. These activities include group sessions focusing on the client's daily orientation, exercise, current events, nutritional values, health issues, medications, arts and crafts, gardening and family support.
Three meals provided daily (depending on the arrival time of the client) breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Meals served are USDA qualified and accommodate the client's dietary needs. A nook is provided in the cafe to allow the client the freedom to eat nutritional snacks if needed.
Support to the family/caregiver is provided through our Respite Care. The center is able to assist with recommending qualified sitters and companionship, to allow the family/caregiver opportunity to take a break. Respite Care also provides recommended individuals to be available for running small errands on the weekends ( consult director for details)
Spacious outdoor area enclosing two canopy sitting areas, flower and vegetable gardens. the area allows for socializing, enhancing conversations and fine/gross motor skills.
presented once or more per month to enlighten the client, family member/caregiver and the community on health issues, medications, aging, emotional, social & physical awareness.
A registered nurse is available to assist clients with medication administration and setting up medicine trays for weekly administration at home.
Transportation provided when needed to the center and doctor's appointments (upon enrollment consult with director for details.)
